Jamba/Jamster Guardian

In 2005, we became the first provider of mobile entertainment services to introduce a Guardian service that allows parents to block children's mobile phones from services from Fox Mobile Group. Jamba/Jamster Guardian can be activated simply and without charge when the relevant mobile phone number is entered under www.jamba.de/kindersicherung. Parents can use this service at any time to ensure their child does not download our products without their consent.

We of course also fully comply with the legal regulations, transparency provisions and participate in selfregulating initiatives of the countries we are operating in (for example in Germany we complay with the German Telecommunications Act (TKG) and the voluntary Code of Conduct (CoC)).

Youth Protection

We strictly follow the relevant statutory guidelines and work closely with public authorities and other members of the sector involved in child protection. This includes compliance with all regulations provided by law - in fact, as one of the industry leaders we aspire to be a role model in the field of consumer and youth protection as well. For example our Youth Protection Officer takes care that our complete offered content is complaint with youth protection regulations.

We support new progressive developments regarding improved consumer and youth protection and actively participate internationally with a wide range of sector and marketing associations for advertising standards and child safety programs applicable to the EU. In these efforts, Fox Mobile Group is one of the signatories of the European Framework for Safer Mobile Use by Younger Teenagers and Children. This is an initiative of the mobile telecoms sector for Europe-wide voluntary self-regulation, which was set up in Brussels in February 2007.

Accordingly Fox Mobile Group has implemented an ICRA label on www.jamba.de. This offers an optional filter system which controls access to certain websites that may not be suitable for children and young persons. Fox Mobile Grooup reports relevant content on its website to ICRA which is then labelled, parents can then use filtering software on their internet browser to disable their children visiting ICRA labelled content on www.jamba.de.
